All log files are backed up.(these log files are normally located in the mdbdata directory where your Exchange Server database files are located). In Exchange Server 2000-03 the log files are probably in a folder named after your computer name of the Exchange Server. On exchange server 5.5 the log file begins with edb.log. On Exchange Server 2000-03 the log files consists of E0000001.log - e00.log.
